Amateur radio, often called ham radio, is both a hobby and a service that uses various types of radio communications equipment to communicate with other radio amateurs for public service, recreation and self-training. A participant is called an amateur radio operator, or a ham. Amateur radio is all about two-way communication between stations.
This is a meetup for amateur musicians looking to play classical chamber music in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We discuss online in advance what we might play, but we might also play a piece that someone brings along on the afternoon, so although we have a range of levels in the group, a good level of sight-reading skills are pretty important.
