Enraged at their mistreatment of Bill during his transport to Mississippi, Edgington shoots one of them as an example to the others and orders Bill to accompany him to his home. Bill tries to explain that he has no special relationship with the queen and thus cannot help, but Russell seems unconvinced. Enraged at seeing her again, Bill loses his temper and throws an oil lamp at her, setting her on fire.
It's often said "True Blood" is a bit over the top. It should be -- it's a vampire soap opera after. But this week's episode threw down the gauntlet.
For actress Anna Paquin, who portrays Sookie, the show's lead character, that means a lot of love scenes with her fellow co-stars. It's OK, whatever. Even having her real-life husband and co-star Stephen Moyer direct her love scene with Alcide, played by Joe Manganiello, in Sunday's season opener, didn't faze Paquin.
Pam gave Eric a bloody ultimatum, forcing him to choose between turning her and watching her die. Bottom line: With Eric as her maker and Pam batting for the other team, these two might take the cake for least predictable fang banging. Scene: Alcide had long wanted his shot with Sookie, and he finally got it.
The moment we all thought would happen has finally arrived. Sookie and Bill have, once again, hooked up on True Bloodproving that near-death experiences really are the ultimate aphrodisiac. And, if that's the case, maybe there's still some hope for us Eric and Sookie 'shippers? Is it the smartest decision Sookie could've made?
